Fisher was able to crush No. 55 Denver's Anna Kadar with a score of 6-0, 6-0 on February 2nd. Also, on March 28th, Sasha defeated Cal State Fullerton's Karina Akhmedova 6-0, 6-1. On April 18th she was also able to achieve another victory against No. 67 UC Irvine's Haley Young in three sets; 7-5, 5-7, 7-5. Sasha also completed her spring doubles season with a record of 16-5 with partner Jenifer Widjaja. Their year total doubles record was 19-8 and they were recognized for 1st Team All-Conference.</p><p><strong>Fall 2009 (Senior):</strong><br /> Fisher finished the fall tournament season with an 8-3 record, second best on the team. Sasha fought her way through the Flight B Consolation bracket at the California Nike Invitational and defeated Santa Clara's Kimi Cox, 6-2, 6-2 in the final on Oct. 4. She also advanced to the Blue Finals of the Saint Mary's Fall Invite, where she eventually fell to fellow Tiger Olga Gumenyuk in three sets (6-2, 4-6, 6-3). Fisher downed Eastern Washington's Kelsey Knight in the round of 128 at the ITA Northwest Regional to advance, but fell to Lina Xu of Washington (6-1, 6-3) to bow out in the round of 64. In doubles play, Sasha paired with Jenifer Widjaja to earn a 3-3 record. The duo made it to the semi-final round of both the California Nike Invitational and Saint Mary's Fall Invite.</p><p><strong>Spring 2009 (Junior):</strong><br /> Fisher posted an impressive 5-1 record at the No. 6 spot in her third spring season as a Tiger. Against ranked opponents she earned a 2-1 mark with both wins coming against top 50 teams. The first was against NAIA No. 2 Fresno Pacific's Ashley Sherr in straight sets (6-0, 6-0). She then ended the season with a win over No. 50 Long Beach State's Sandra Kukla at home, whom she downed 6-3, 6-3. Fisher finished with an 11-11 record in doubles play with partner Jolanta Twarowska. The pair faced eight ranked teams earning a win over No. 36 University of Tulsa's Anastasia Erofeeva and Jie Zeng (8-2) at the No. 2 spot.</p><p><strong>Fall 2008 (Junior):</strong><br /> Sasha wrapped up the fall tournament season with a 3-5 mark in singles play and a 3-4 record with teammate Twarowska in doubles competition. Fisher delivered back-to-back victories in the Saint Mary's Fall Invitational, besting Gonzaga's Madeline Parker (6-0, 6-3) and San Jose State's Anna Guzman (7-5, 6-0) to advance to the semifinals of the Blue ITA draw. With Twarowska, Fisher defeated No. 40 Sacramento State's Milica Zivanovic and Gayane Sarkisian, 8-3, at the Wilson/ITA Northwest Regional's in the opening round.</p><p><strong>Spring 2008 (Sophomore):</strong><br /> After completing spring play with a 10-10 mark from the No. 5 and 6 spots, Fisher swept her only opponent after pulling out a 6-3, 7-5 sweep against Eastern Washington on Mar. 26. In doubles action, Sasha teamed up with Svenja Arens to post a 3-8 record and then spent the rest of her time with Clara Schuhmacher for a 0-3 record in doubles.</p><p><strong>Fall 2007 (Sophomore):</strong><br /> In the fall tournament season Sasha recorded a 3-6 record in singles competition. Fisher's best showing came with a victory over Gonzaga's Danielle Farmer in the semi-finals of the Saint Mary's Invitational. Sasha never got the opportunity to play the third and final day as the tournament got cut short due to weather. In doubles play, Fisher paired with Svenja Arens and Clara Schuhmacher compiling an overall doubles record of 4-5.</p><p><strong>Spring 2007 (Freshman):</strong><br /> Fisher posted a 10-17 overall record, including a 2-5 mark against competition at the No. 6 position. In doubles play Fisher recorded a 7-20 finish with four different partners, including a 3-4 record during the spring with partner Carla Tamborini. Fisher and Tamborini landed a 2-3 finish at the No. 3 position and 1-1 at the No. 2 position.</p><p><strong>Fall 2006 (Freshman):</strong><br /> Fisher posted a 6-5 mark in singles during her first fall season at Pacific. Sasha's top finish of the fall came at the Saint Mary's Fall Invitational where she was runner up in the C singles draw, falling to Caitlin Aloia of Saint Mary's 6-1, 6-3. In doubles action, Fisher posted a 3-5 record, mostly playing with partner Jolanta Twarowska.</p><p><strong>High School:</strong><br /> Sasha attended Blair Academy in Blairstown, N.J., where she lettered twice in tennis, squash and softball. Fisher was a first team All-State selection in tennis for the Buccaneers.</p><p><strong>Personal:</strong> <br /> Sasha Fisher was born in Southampton, Bermuda, and is the daughter of Keith and Suzette-Edmead Fisher.
